WATER LILY

In the SMASH-HIT imaginary underwater Metroidvania-style game WATER LILY, play as a woman with the strange ability to breathe underwater and a knack for exploring the deep sea.

For this submission I wanted to mix the light and playful aesthetic of Springtime with the openness and mystery of the ocean. In terms of instrumentation, this meant blending woodwinds and soft strings with lush synth pads and modulated pianos. 

I imagine the game having a good mix of exploration and tough platforming segments akin to games like Celeste!
